The textile industry in Flanders , in the South West region of Flanders is very well developed. The classic textile production is outsourced much of the low-wagecountries , so that our companies are now focusing on the production ofhighly sophisticated textiles.

These recent developments will be discussed on a workshop with speakers from academia and research institutes . There will also be a forum to discuss opportunities and challenges in the sector.
